Common Cold and Flu – this is one of the conditions that people choose to have treated with acupuncture and Chinese herbs. This combination has been used for thousands of years to reduce the signs and symptoms of a common cold. I have also found it to be effective in speeding up the recovery process and strengthening the immune system to prevent reoccurance.
Asthma – conventional medicines, such as bronchiodilators do a good job at relieving the symptoms of asthma but they do not cure the disease. TCM looks at identifying the root cause and may be effective in reducing ashtma symptoms.
